Helene
If you don’t know this about me yet: I absolutely love black. For starters it never goes out of style, it can be accessorized and layered effortlessly, and it’s hella flattering. Now Christian Dior said that the only colour that could ever even think about competing with black, is midnight blue. And I’ve gotsta say, I share his sentiment.
So you can imagine my elation when Helene informed me at her first consultation that she wanted a midnight blue dress. Not powder or duck egg or some other light hue, but a deep, dark shade that resembles the colour of a moonlit night sky. I mean…how romantic!
Her beautiful blue gown was specifically designed to draw attention to the top, neckline and shoulders. A gorgeous midnight blue beaded lace accentuated these elements, sparsely moving down toward an ivory plain fitted stretch crepe skirt. The back was embellished with small fabric covered buttons. The look was finished with stylish sandals with corresponding midnight blue beads.
Exquisite, Helene. Absolutely exquisite.
