Elphia

Elphia is such a dear, stylish, and well-rounded woman. Her gran graciously offered to make her a skirt (which I think 1. Is sooo special and 2. Came out beautifully!) and so she approached me to design (what turned out to be) an absolutely exquisite bodice.

At first glance it looks like she’s wearing a wedding dress with a sweetheart bodice and off-the shoulder sleeves. In reality we made her a corset-style body suit with an alluring illusion neckline and cap sleeves. We then embellished the bodice and detailed the edge of the sleeves with the most beautiful beaded Victorian lace. This creates a semblance of a sweetheart neckline, while still providing support, comfort and coverage.

The end result is just gorgeous. It’s timeless, striking and stylish. There’s nothing not to love!
