Goodness. I love me a winter wedding. There is just something so magical and mystical about it. Plus, from a professional perspective, I get to play with lots of layers and tons of textures, which I’m sure my fellow fashionistas will agree, is every designers dream!

Needless to say, when Charé approached me to design her dream dress, my winter got a little warmer. She wanted to make a statement…and that, in my most humble opinion, she most definitely did!

Her full length lace gown was fashioned from an intricate corded ivory lace, with a grey undertone. The front of the dress sported a sensual low V-neck, balancing the lovely long lace sleeves and covered back beautifully. A playful peplum frill flattered and accentuated her waist, which we further enhanced with a detachable Italian tulle skirt.

I don’t know about you, but I just looove this dress! The combo of classic and contemporary elements are so vogue, yet enduring. I can’t imagine this dress ever being out of style.

So brides-to-be, if you’re considering a winter wedding, I say go for it!  If for nothing else, do it for the dress!
