I absolutely ♥ winter weddings!! Especially in the Cape, when everything is lush and green and beautiful….something mystical about it.

Anja and I met during our studies at Stellenbosch. It was so lovely to reconnect with her years later, when she asked me to make her wedding dress. Her idea for a high-waist full volume gown was something that I was very excited about! The silhouette was perfect for Anja with her stunning tall and slender frame. We chose a beautiful antique cream Duchess Satin and combined it with a beaded lace to enrich the bodice. Her brown leather lace-up boots, frill socks, patterned stockings, and STUNNING fur jacket with a brooch – completed the look.
