Maya Angelou wrote a poem pinned Beautiful Woman. When I read this Mareli came to mind and I reserved these words especially for her.

It reads:

It’s in the arch of my back,

The sun of my smile,

The ride of my breasts,

The grace of my style.

I’m a woman

Phenomenally.

Phenomenal woman,

That’s me.

Mareli surely looked phenomenal on her big day! She exudes such boundless grace and beauty. She’s not the type of woman you call princess. But she is a queen.

Mareli wanted her dress to be comfortable – she wanted to mingle with her loved ones without continuously tugging or adjusting her gown. She also wanted her dress to highlight her best features. I too firmly believe that if you feel beautiful, you will look beautiful!

Her off-white dress was fashioned from soft silk chiffon. The rouged bodice had beautifully embroidered and beaded detail and showcased a modest v-neck in front, with a lower cut open back. The dropped waist gave way to layered fabric – creating a soft and streamlined appearance.

Gorgeous!
