When Lizelle approached me with her dress idea, I was over the moon. Like every other aspect and arrangement re: this creative coupling’s wedding day (ceremony at a coffee shop and reception at a restaurant), it was totally unique. And utterly fabulous.

I’m not sure which element I loved more. Was it the plunging V-neck bodice with the illusion inset? Or the sparkling leaf motif that scaled it? What about the quirky belt and bow? Or was it the classic custom-pleated peplum frill? Maybe it was the dreamy silk chiffon skirt?

I don’t know.

What I do know is that I absolutely LOVE this dress. Almost, I dare say, as much as I love the woman who wore it.
