“You should never have to look for evidence that someone loves you. True love is crystal clear.”

I wish Liesel’s husband could have been a fly on the wall during our consultations. He would have beamed with pride. Not only because of the beauty his beloved beholds, but by way she spoke of him in his absence. It impressed upon me a gentle reminder to always look upon my husband through the eyes of love and elevate him in my speech.

It was also lovely to see the groom’s mom accompany Liesel to her first few fittings…and witness the deepening of such a significant relationship. So, so special.

Talking about special…let’s talk about the dress!

Liesel wanted a wow factor. I actually distinctly remember her saying, “What’s the point of wearing a wedding dress, if it isn’t breathtaking?!”

And so, with that in mind, we fashioned a classic sweetheart bodice from tulle that was delicately detailed with beaded leaves and twigs. For the ceremony she slipped on a detached top, which we made from the same bead-embellished fabric.  Circled layers of hemmed tulle shaped her spectacular skirt.

Breathtaking?  Well, I definitely think so! (Although, to be honest, I think she’d look amazing in a black bag too!)
