Jeannie
Oh my goodness! Where do I start! Jeannie is honestly one of the dearest, sweetest, kindest, most colourful, dynamic, dramatic, funniest, full-of-life people I have ever met. And I’m not just saying that because she brought the best chocolate cake ever to our first consult. No, Jeannie stole my heart with her sweetness. Utterly and irrevocably. And I now consider myself lucky to call her a friend.
Just as wonderful as it was getting to know this bride, it was making her dress. It was a bold design. Yet still soft and romantic. The entire gown was made from a dark, moody emerald green fabric that we layered with the most exquisite long sleeve lace top. We also detailed the back with buttons and softened the skirt with a layer of tulle. An incredibly special design detail that you may not notice immediately, is the layers of tulle in shades of green, teal and purple peaking out beneath the skirt. Purple is her fave colour and we wanted to incorporate it into the design.
I think the end result is simply stunning and suited Jeannie to a T. The colours compliment her skin tone and hair so beautifully. And even if I hadn’t made this dress, I’d say this dress was most definitely made for her.
