Elri

Elri is honestly one of the dearest, darling people I have ever met. Ever. Ever ever.  Her sincere smile and sparkling personality lit me up. However, what I found most endearing was her childlike excitement at each fitting. As adults we so often hide the intensity of our excitement and anticipation in fear of being…I don’t know…judged? Her unguarded expressions and unbridled enthusiasm reminded me that when we express ourselves wholly, we not only invite others to share in our journey, but provide a safe space for them to express themselves too. And isn’t that what connection is all about?

The first time I met Elri, she was a bridesmaid to the beautiful Rozanne. The connection was instantaneous. Needless to say, when she contacted me to chat about her dream dress, I was over the moon.

Elri wanted something elegant, timeless and romantic. She selected 2 of the most gorgeous pieces of beaded lace, which we creatively combined and covered her bodice with. The back of the her ivory dress was detailed with blooms and buttons, and the skirt was fashioned from chiffon.

I think the end result was absolutely exquisite and everything Elri wanted it to be: Elegant, timeless and romantic.
