Amy described her big day as a labour of love. It was a family affair – with even her brother lending a hand with the creation of the beautiful bouquets. The bride and her handsome now-husband, Kevin, tied the knot on a relatives farm near Morgan’s Bay in the Eastern Cape. Apart from their photographer, Natasha, and the stationers, Seven Swans, all their service providers hailed from this province – adding an authentic Eastern Cape essence to the celebrations.
Her fitted full length lace gown was fashioned from an off white corded Chantilly lace, with a mesh neckline detailed with traditional Chantilly lace. Layered with 10 meters of tulle, the gown graciously flared from beneath her derriere. The look was finished with a gorgeous fingertip veil with a lovely lace border. Classic!
An incredibly special and sentimental addition to her outfit, was her late mother’s bangle. She also had earring’s fashioned from her late grandmother’s ring. The fabric for her garter and bouquet were gleaned from her other gran’s wedding dress. How sweet! Love, love, love the significance of these heartrending gestures.
